Glitter Playdough (Show 1323)
We had fun making a card for Mom in Mr. Pastel's art class. Here are instructions for another cool project we made in his class: playdough that glitters!
You’ll need:
* 3 cups flour
* 1 cup salt
* 3 cups water
* 2 Tbs. cream of tartar (found in the spice section of a grocery store)
* 3 Tbs. vegetable oil
* a few drops of food coloring (optional)
* glitter
Mix all the ingredients together in a large pot. Over low heat, continuously stir the mixture until it thickens. Remove from heat, and transfer mixture into a clean bowl.
When the dough is cool enough to touch, sprinkle in some glitter, and knead for a few minutes. Store the glitter playdough in a sealed plastic bag or container in the refrigerator (or a cool garage), and it'll last for a long time! |
