the zucchini brothers FAMILY CONCERTS

A Zucchini Brothers family concert is typically 45 to 50 minutes long and is appropriate for a number of settings: indoor or outdoor venues, libraries, theatres, festivals, family shows, schools, etc... The show is both educational and a lot of fun! Moms, dads, kids, teenagers, grandparents, dogs and cats...there's something for everyone at a "Zucchini" concert (did we leave anyone out?)

school programs SCHOOL ASSEMBLIES

The Zucchini Brothers play at hundreds of elementary schools throughout the Country....and for good reason: They are certified teachers themselves; They've written music to go along with the K-6th grade curriculum; And most importantly a day with The Zucchini Brothers is a good time for all-full of fun, humor and lots of participation!

All shows are approximately 45-50 minutes and can be performed for the entire school (K-5/6 grades) or divided up in two separate age-appropriate programs (K-2, 3-5/6) depending upon size of the school.

Programs can also be tailored to fit a specific topic or theme your school is concentrating on (i.e. the PARP program, respect, sharing, etc...).

SONGWRITING WORKSHOPS

During a classroom session lasting approximately an hour, students explore the craft of songwriting by writing and recording a song that is uniquely their own, based on a theme or curriculum-related topic.

Coached by Jack and Steve Zucchini (with guitar and keyboard), students work cooperatively to create a musical composition by brainstorming ideas, writing lyrics, and composing a melody. The outcome is a new song and personal experience with the creative process! The piece is then rehearsed by the class and recorded to a tape which the school gets to keep!

(**Teacher assistance is required.)
